We specialize in both residential and commercial applications of solar power. Be it off-grid, on-grid or hybrid, we have complete solar power solutions for all applications.
The off-grid system comes with a battery bank and uses grid-power only as a backup. During the day, the solar power generated from solar panels powers the appliances and the excess power is stored in batteries. The power from the batteries is used in the night. Our off-grid systems are designed for 24/7 power from solar on a sunny day and average electricity usage. During rainy days and/or higher than average electricity usage days, the grid power is used as a backup. Its main objective is to provide 24/7 power and also EB bill savings.
The off-grid solar system is suitable when
• 24×7 power is required OR
• EB power is not reliable frequent power cuts or voltage fluctuations
• Day: At daytime, the power from the solar panels is used to power the connected appliances and also the batteries are charged.
• Night: The inverter automatically switches the connected appliances from solar to batteries at night. The charged batteries power the connected appliances during the night.
If more-than-average power is consumed during the day or if the day has been cloudy, then the battery may drain during the night and reach a low cut-off. The inverter then switches from batteries to the grid automatically. This is switched back to solar in the morning. This algorithm ensures optimal convenience and bill savings.
Many of the residences and commercial establishments have existing UPS systems. Our retrofit solutions are a seamless integration of solar panels to these existing UPS systems though charge-controllers.
The system is suitable when one plans to go for up-gradation of their existing UPS.
Day: At daytime, the charge controller charges the battery connected to the existing UPS. The grid input to the UPS is switched OFF by the charge controller. Since the grid input is off, the UPS starts to run the loads using power in the battery (from solar)
Night: At night, grid input to the UPS is switched ON by the controller. The battery starts charging via grid resuming to its normal function at night.
